GFBA partners have successfully completed numerous corporate compliance/integrity monitoring engagements for large and small public works contractors, labor unions, and not-for-profit corporations. In these engagements, pursuant to agreements with government agencies or courts, we have reported to: US District Court for the Southern District of New York; US District Court for the District of New Jersey; US Attorneys for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey; United States Department of Labor; the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; the NYS Dormitory Authority; the NYS Office of General Services; the NYC School Construction Authority; the NYC Department of Investigation; the NYC Business Integrity Commission; NYC Transit; Metro North Railroad and Long Island Railroad. We also provided investigative services to the Examiner appointed by the US Bankruptcy Court after the financial collapse of one of the nation’s largest publicly traded “sub-prime” mortgage lenders.

GFBA has also conducted in depth internal corporate investigations for private clients which have developed critical information for management and boards of directors to restructure corporate departments, amend policies and procedures, and improve operational efficiencies.

We are particularly experienced in all forms of investigation techniques including document/financial review and analysis, formal and informal interviews, pattern analysis and the preparation and submission of concise written reports of our methodology and findings. Subject areas include the review, analysis and application of Collective Bargaining Agreements, Project Labor Agreements, Prevailing Wage Law and Requirements, Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, environmental compliance, potentially responsible party investigations, and government contracts and procurement, among others. Our team is fully familiar with matters and proceedings involving allegations of white collar crime and/or official corruption.
